FAQ'S

What Size Spring Will I Receive? 

We will send you a spring 10% the size of your zip wire kit, for example, if your zip line is 40m, you will receive a 4m spring. 

What Length of Cable Do I Need? 

Measure the distance between your two trees and add at least 5m to 10m extra to your order. This allows for sag and accounts for any human error during measuring. It doesn't matter if you have too much cable, it does matter if you don't have enough. 

Why Do I Only Need One Sling?

You use a sling at the sending part of your zip line, then once you've attached this to your main zip wire cable, you wrap the excess wire around your receiving tree and secure it back to itself using wire rope grips.

How Do I Create Tension?

1. The tension winch kit lifts the cable from the ground and removes slack. 

2. The Rigging Jaw Screw makes the final tensioning adjustments, and you're ready to ride! 

How does the zip wire pulley return device work? 

To install the return device, you begin by clamping the system to the starting point of your zip line; the top wheel contains a thread, and you attach this industrial strength thread to your zip line trolley. 

The bottom wheel has a webbing; this webbing attaches to a bucket you fill with water or stones to act as a counterweight. 

When you ride your zip wire, the wheels will begin to spin, the bucket will lift, and the thread wheel will spin. When you hop off your seat, the bucket will start to drop, and your pulley and seat will return to the starting point of your zip wire. 

And Voila! You now have a fully automatic zip-wire kit. Pretty Nifty Aye!
